Guwahati, April 20 (MExN): In order to clear extra rush of passengers, the Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) has decided to continue the service of Guwahati –Ranchi -Guwahati weekly special train for another 23 trips from April 22 September 24. The train will continue its service with existing timings, stoppages and composition and the extended service will help fulfill the demand of long distance travelers in this route, informed an official release.
Services of train no. 05671 (Guwahati - Ranchi) leave from Guwahati at 11:40 AM on all Saturdays from April 22 to September 23 reach Ranchi at 2:25 PM on the next day. In return direction, services of train no. 05672 (Ranchi - Guwahati) will depart from Ranchi at 8:30 PM on all Sundays from April 23 September 24 to reach Guwahati at 11:45 PM on the next day. Both ways journey, the special train will run via New Bongaigaon, Alipurduar Jn., Siliguri Jn., Malda Town, Rampur Hat, Asansol Jn. and Bokaro Steel City. The details of stoppages and timings of this train are available in IRCTC website and are also being notified in various newspapers and social media platforms of NFR, the release added.
