
Maligaon, November 7 (MExN): To clear extra rush of passengers, the Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) has informed that it has decided to run one special train between Secunderabad and Agartala during the month of November, 2021. The train will run for three trips from each direction for the benefit of passengers, NFR CPRO Guneet Kaur informed in a press release on Sunday.
“The special Train No. 07030 Secunderabad – Agartala special will run for three trips – on 8th, 15th and 22nd November, 2021 (Monday) leaving from Secunderabad at 16-35 hours to reach Agartala at 03-00 hours on Thursday. In return direction, Train No. 07029 Agartala – Secunderabad special will run for three trips – on 12th, 19th and 26th November, 2021 (Friday) leaving from Agartala at 06-10 hours to reach Secunderabad at 14-50 hours on Sunday,” the CPRO stated.
The train will run via Mathabhanga and Goalpara Town; and will have stoppages at Kishanganj, New Jalpaiguri, New Coochbehar, New Alipurduar, New Bongaigaon, Kamakhya, Guwahati, New Haflong, Badarpur junction, New Karimganj, Dharmanagar and Ambasa stations over NFR during its both way journey. The train will have AC- 2 tier, AC- 3 tier, sleeper class and general second class coaches apart from luggage vans.
Earlier, the NFR announced special trains from Dibrugarh, New Jalpaiguri, Katihar, Jogbani, Kishanganj etc. to places like Puri, Kanyakumari, New Delhi, Jammu Tawi, Udaipur etc. to clear extra rush of passengers during festive season.
The details of stoppages and timings of these trains are available in IRCTC website and are also being notified in various newspapers and social media platforms of the NFR. Passengers have been requested to check these details before undertaking their journey. They have also been requested to observe the COVID-19 related safety measures and instructions of their respective states during journey.
