
Punglwa, September 9 (MExN): Speed reading, memory skill and motivation workshop was conducted at Sainik School Punglwa (SSP) by Squadron Leader R Jayasimha (Retd) on September 7 and 8 at the school premises was attended by the cadets and staff.
Squadron Leader R Jayasimha (Retd) who holds 14 Guinness World Record is India’s leading trainer on memory and soft skills with rich experience in the field of education, training and development and only Indian to hold maximum number of Guinness records on his name. An ex-Indian Air Force officer, he is recipient of many service honours and awards like; Chief of Air Staff Commendation, Sword of Honour and other recognition across the globe.
The training was divided into four different sessions which was highly motivating, educative and entertaining for the staff and cadets of Sainik School Punglwa. He demonstrated and taught the art of enhancing memory power- word meaning, dates, numbers etc. and the skills of speed reading.
The ex-IAF officer in his motivational talk stated that, nothing is beyond one’s reach if one truly believes in oneself. He further encouraged the cadets to be positive in life and to shy away from illogical excuses which obstruct a person from attaining one’s goal. A press release also added that for the service rendered, Gp Capt Sanjay Gaekwad, Principal of the school presented a school memento and a portrait of the resource person that was sketched by Dailee Mao, Asst Master (Art).
