23 member Taekwondo team to participate in Nat’l School Games Dimapur, October 1 (MExN): A 23 member Taekwondo team representing Nagaland will be participating in the 62nd National School Games to be held at Telangana from October 3 to 8. The state taekwondo team led by Visabiu Peseyie as Chief de mission left for the National Games on September 30 and will be competing in the Under-14 and Under-17 categories. Adventure & Sports Climbing consultative meeting Kohima, October 1 (MExN): All Adventure & Sports Climbing enthusiasts and individual Sports Climbing experts in Nagaland are requested to attend a Consultative Meeting on October 3, 12 noon at Hotel Japfu, Kohima. According to a press release from Ruokuovikho Chale, Secretary, North East Sports Climbing Association, the meeting will discuss and deliberate on formation of Nagaland Sports Climbing Association (NASCA) and nomination for Board of Promoters to work out modalities in line with North East Sports Climbing Association, Indian Mountaineering Association, Olympic Association and other Government formalities. No other separate invitation or information will be sent, the release stated. Prior intimation of participation is a must, it added.
