Team Nepal comprising of nine members was the first international team to have reached Nagaland for the South Asian Cross Country Championship and the 56th National Cross Country Championship. A total of 38 participants and guests landed at Dimapur Airport on March 23. Team Gujarat, Telengana, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Uttarakhand and Uttar Pradesh have also reached Nagaland. The reception committee and security personnel will be in the train station 24X7 for facilitating the participants/ guests. More VVIPs and teams will be arriving on March 24 and 26 via Airway and Train. (DIPR Photo) 

The Nagaland Sepaktakraw junior and Sub-junior team will be taking part at the forthcoming 25th Junior & Sub-junior National Championship, scheduled for March 27 to 31 at Jaipur (Rajasthan). During the last practice session, Nagaland Sepaktakraw Association advisors Rusovil John and Aochuba Yaden encouraged the state team to give their best and bring laurel to the state. They also acknowledged the state’s department of youth resources and sports for constant support towards promotion of Sepaktakraw game in the state.
