Dimapur, March 1 (MExN): The Satoi Range Public Union Dimapur (SRPUD) today issued a stern warning to its members “from entering late night lounge and disco in Dimapur Town.”
The Union president Phukato Sumi and general secretary Khevishe Zhimo in a press release said that in the event of any unwanted incident or problem SRPUD would take strong action against the members who are running lounge and disco. The Union issued this caution note following report that some of their members were “assaulted and beaten up from lounge and disco near SP Office Dimapur.”
SRPUD also appealed to the Deputy Commissioner, Dimapur and Superintendent of Police, Dimapur to take necessary steps and action against the lounge and disco. The Union also appealed to Naga Women Hoho Dimapur, NBCC, NGOs and right thinking organizations and citizens to take certain steps and measures to control “all kinds of evil practices and problems” happening around Dimapur city.
