SSPN holds basketball championship held

Dimapur, October 31 (MExN): An Inter-Class Basketball Championship was conducted for classes 6 and 7 of  School Punglwa, Nagaland (SSPN) from October 28 to 30. 

The championship which was played on league cum knock out basis and was organised under the supervision of Shankarshon Nath, TGT Science, informed a press note from SSPN. 

In the championship played section-wise, the best team of three sections of classes 6 and 7 respectively was decided on the basis of league matches, it said. 

Class 6A and class 7A managed to top the score board in their respective classes and reached the final.  In the final match latter defeated the former 6-22.

Lt Col M Kiran Meitei, the Officiating Principal graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and gave away the prize to the winners, the release added.
