DIMAPUR, NOVEMBER 9 (MExN): The Junior Class Basketball Championship 2018-19 of Sainik School Punglwa ended on November 8 with the final match played between Class 7C and 6C.
In the final, Class 7C defeated Class 6C emphatically by 30 baskets to 2. The championship was played on knock out basis by six sections of junior classes. Class 7C emerged as the winner of the champion. Cdt Vikole Zhasa of 7C was adjudged the best player of the championship.
The final match was attended by the Principal Gp Capt Sharad R Keskar as the chief guest. He presented prizes to the winners and congratulated them all. The chief guest in his short address stressed the young cadets that it is important for a player to stick to strategy of a game and team work in order to be successful when played as a team game.
