DIMAPUR, AUGUST 16 (MExN): The Sakshi Students Union (SSU) today informed that it has begun its first phase of agitation against the School Education Department’s failure to fulfill its demand regarding the posting of math and science teacher at Government High School, Sakshi. It may be noted that the SSU had given the department time till August 15 to respond to their ultimatum. However, no action has been forthcoming. As part of its first phase of agitation, the SSU is shutting down the school indefinitely. The SSU cautioned that it may resort to second phase of agitation without further notice. “The school education department shall be held fully responsible for any incident that may occur during its agitation,” it added.
