DIMAPUR, DECEMBER 4 (MExN): The Sangtam Students’ Union Dimapur (SSUD) organized its 27th annual general meeting cum felicitation programme on December 3.
Kodila Sangtam, President, Sangtamlar Ü Thsingm Üjang Dimapur invoked a prayed for the programme followed by welcome address by Chongrokhum Sangtam, President, SSUD. The union felicitated the achievers from the recently declared NPSC result 2022 and athletes.
The included ALumtsala Sangtam, SDO (Civil Eng); Dangtila Sangtam, Medical Officer; Khumlise Anar, JE (IT/Communication); S Moatoshi Sangtam, Foreman; T Desela Sangtam, DSP; Khumrila Thonger, Secretariat Assistance; John Anar, Employment Officer; and Lithsamong Sangtam, bronze medal (karate) under 60 senior male at the 2nd NE Olympic, Shillong, Meghalaya, a student of Dimapur Govt College.
The special guest Sethrongky Ü Sangtam, Vice President, Western Sangtam People Organization (WSPO), who was also the former President of SSUD, expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to address the student community as special guest. He encouraged the students to work hard in life as nothing comes easy. He encouraged the students to put God first in everything,to be the change for a better tomorrow.
The latter part of the programme proceeded with reports from the General Secy. and Finance Secy., followed by discussion hour on agendas and resolutions.
