DIMAPUR: The Sangtam Students’ Union Kohima (SSUK) has vehemently condemned the dissolution of the USLB by United Sangtam Region (USR) NSCM (IM), which has been published in some local dailies.
“USLB the apex body of the Sangtam community cannot be dissolved without the consent of all the USLB leaders and general public of the Sangtam”, it was stated in a press communiqué issued by officials of the SSUK.
Stating that every society and organization(s) had its own weakness the SSUK pointed out that instead of dissolving the USLB, the united Sangtam Region (USR) NSCN (IM) should contribute and support to re-strengthen the USLB, which was only working for the welfare of the Sangtam community.
Urging all responsible citizens to wake up from their slumber and raise their voice against such wrong declaration which was unacceptable to all Naga Civil Societies, the SSUK stated that hence, the dissolution of USLB by (USR) NSCN (IM) was not acceptable to the Sangtam Students’ in particular and public in general.
