The community of St Andrew, Thenyizumi celebrated the Sacerdotal Silver Jubilee of Rev Fr Sojan Xavier on April 26.
Jakhama, April 27 (MExN): The community of St Andrew, Thenyizumi celebrated the Sacerdotal Silver Jubilee of Rev Fr Sojan Xavier, the Parish Priest and Principal of St Andrew School on April 26.
The Holy Mass was celebrated in the Campus Chapel at 9am where Fr Sunny emphasised on the dignity of Priest as the continuators of the Mission of Christ for all the generations to come, press release informed.
It was followed by felicitation programme in the school premise, where students and community leaders expressed gratitude praise for Fr Sojan and wished him on this special accession, it said.
The Jubilarian had served the Diocese of Kohima in various capacities as Youth Director, Pastoral center Director, Chancellor, Parish Priest etc., in the past 25 years, it added.
Various cultural programmes incluing cultural dance, skit, choreography etc were presented during the celebration, which concluded with a family meal.
