St John College Dimapur, Dept of Sociology had an educational trip to Hornbill Festival Kohima

St John College Dimapur, Department of Sociology had an educational trip to Hornbill Festival Kohima on December 1 to undertake a research project on different community specially Ao, Sumi, Kuki, Konyak and others. Ten honour students of BA 6th semester were chosen to interact with different communities through participant’s observation method. The students were guided by Lamkhotinthang Chongloi, HOD, Asst. Prof and Dr Sita Malakar, Asst Prof from Sociology department. Two lecturers from Chemistry department also accompanied the team. (Photo Courtesy/ St John College)
