St. John School Razeba literary competition held

  Razeba, October 28 (MExN): St. John School Razeba literary competition was conducted from October 26 to 28 with the theme, “Beyond the Books…” On the Inaugural day, Dr. Zavese Rume, Associate Professor, SCERT, Kohima graced the occasion as the chief guest.  

At the outset of the programme John Krocha, Zhavame Catechist invoked God’s blessing which was followed by Class 7 students who presented a melodious welcome song.  

The Chief Guest speaking on the theme told to the students that, “Learning is not confined to the class room or text book knowledge rather it should go beyond and discover the hidden talents”. He encouraged the teachers and parents to create a cordial and healthy relationship between them for the growth of the children. He emphasized that one need not be well-educated to guide their children’s daily studies. He added the students should excel in their academic performance to arise and shine.  

The Literary competition includes group song, Choreography, Declamation, Poem recitation, Traditional show, Essay writing, Solo, Rhymes and drawing.  

Vipurhu Movi expressed the words of gratitude on behalf of the students to the Management and Teachers for giving them an ample opportunity to realized their hidden talents.
