During the programme, Dr Jesse Magh, a Diabetic Educator and neurology specialist, who delivered an insightful presentation on the various types of diabetes, their causes, symptoms, and long-term health impacts.
Dr Magh highlighted the significance of regular health check-ups, a healthy lifestyle, and a balanced diet as key measures to prevent diabetes. His engaging talk provided attendees with a comprehensive understanding of diabetes care, equipping them with valuable knowledge to apply in their own lives and communities.
The programme commenced with an invocation by Miss Angela Tango L, followed by a warm welcome from Dr Oinam Anjali, Assistant Professor in the Department of Social Work. Nekenyanla chaired the session, ensuring a smooth flow of discussions. The event concluded with a vote of thanks from Lioka K Yeptho, expressing gratitude to the guest speaker and participants for their involvement.
