Youth Red Cross at St Joseph University, Nagaland was inaugurated on November 7.

Dimapur, November 8 (MExN): The Youth Red Cross at St Joseph University (SJU), Nagaland was inaugurated with Ajay Sethi, Vice Chairman, Indian Red Cross Society (IRCS), Dimapur District Branch and Kuldeep Jain, Managing Committee member, IRCS, Dimapur District Branch on November 7.
A press release received here stated that the programme was moderated by Puloi, Youth Red Cross (YRC) member, SJU. It began with invocation by Fr Augustine (MMI), welcome address by Heli, Coordinator, YRC, SJU, presidential address by Dr Setupathy, Registrar, vote of thanks was delivered by Dr Patrick, coordinator, YRC, SJU.
YRC members were asked to pledge as a members of Youth Red Cross which was conducted by Ajay Sethi. The programme concluded with University Anthem presented by Choir, Department of Political Science.
In the second session, the orientation was delivered by Ajay Sethi and Kuldeep Jain respectively. They encouraged the YRC members to actively participate in rendering their service to the communities in need, organise medical camps, and create awareness about peace.
Ajay Sethi urged the members to create a sub-committee under YRC, St Joseph University such as community service, road safety measures, medical (blood-donation), child care, etc. and render their charitable service serving through these committees.
Kuldeep Jain oriented the members with roles and responsibilities as members of YRC. He encouraged the members to spare their time and truly render their service to the Youth Red Cross Society.
