St. Joseph's School inaugurates higher secondary block

Chumukedima, May 24 (MExN): The newly built higher secondary block at St. Joseph’s Chumukedima was inaugurated by Thomas Kikon, Additional Director, Geology and Mining and blessed by Most Rev. Dr. James Thoppil, Bishop of Kohima. Rev. Fr. Sajan, principal, accorded the words of welcome to the Chief Guest and his lady wife, to the bishop, the fathers, sisters, public leaders, parents, students and invited guests and presented mementos on the occasion.  

The chief guest, Thomas, while addressing the gathering applauded Rev. Fr. Sajan and his team for having completed successfully and in time the new school block. He said the school is trying its best to provide the best infrastructure, quality and valuable education to our students and urged the students to make use of the good facilities provided.  

The students of Class twelve welcomed the gathering with their welcome song and Choreography. Relishi compered the programme and Rev. Sr. Anita Paul proposed the vote of thanks.  

Thomas Toretkiu, Bishop’s Secretary in a press release stated that in the evening the Bishop blessed and inaugurated the newly constructed convent of Franciscan Sisters of St. Mary of the Angels (FSMA) in the presence of Rev, Sr, Samina, Provincial, FSMA, Fathers, Sisters, Leaders and invited guests  at Dimapur near Livingstone Hr. Sec. School.
