Dimapur, August 16 (MExN): Celebrating the 70th Independence Day, the Bharatiya Janata Party, Nagaland, hoisted the National flag and rendered social services in different parts of the state. In Dimapur, the National Flag was hoisted at the party office complex, unfurled by Khulu, Convenor of the Finance Committee. The ceremony was attended by all the State office bearers, State Morchas, Cells, BJP Dimapur District officials, senior leaders, party members and supporters, a press release informed. After the flag hoisting function, social services were organised by the party members. The State Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) organized a blood donation camp at the Government Civil Hospital, Dimapur. Party members as well as other volunteers stepped up to donate blood. The State Bharatiya Janata Mahila Morcha (BJMM) visited the Ebenezer Orphanage while the State Kisan Morcha held a commemoration programme at its office. The BJP Dimapur District visited the Kids of Fellowship Orphanage at Burma Camp. In other parts of the state too, BJP officials marked the day with programmes and social visits.
