Dimapur, December 6 (MExN): The State Minority Morcha, BJP Nagaland held its first State Executive Meeting at Hotel Silhouette, Dimapur where 34 executive members were installed.
According to a press release from its State Media Convenor, among others, Minority Mahila Morcha State Convener Pushpa Thatal, State Minority Morcha Media Convener Ajay Sethi, Kohima District In-charge Ankur Sangpang Rai, Minority Mahila Morcha Co-conveners Nita Agarwal and Mamta Karir, and Kohima District Co-in-charge Mustafa Ahmed were inducted in the presence of Pintu Ghosh, State Minority Co-in-charge & spokesperson and Deep Kumar, President, State Minority Morcha.
Speaking on the occasion, Pintu M Ghosh exhorted the new executives to work dedicatedly for the party. He also apprised the members about his gradual rise in the party from a primary member to the post of state spokesperson and encouraged all the executives to provide solutions to the various issues of the non-tribal minorities in Nagaland.
The release stated that the State Office Bearers of Minority Morcha have been actively working under the leadership of its President Deep Kumar, who also shared about his silent rise in the party on the basis of his performance which was duly rewarded by putting him at the helm of the State Minority Morcha.
It said that Kumar’s exhortation for all the executives to remain actively involved in the party activities was echoed by Minority Morcha State Vice-Presidents Ajay Sethi, Prem Thongbam and Roshan Kumar Tamang, while all the members present reaffirmed their inspiration through Narendra Modi’s leadership under the theme ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Viswas.’
It informed that the State Office Bearers of Minority Morcha were installed on September 19 in the presence of Khevishe Sema, State General Secretary and Minority In-charge, besides state executive members.
The release also provided an activity report of the unit during the past three months and said the Morcha initiated 25 events including 15 national and state level physical or virtual meetings. The initiatives included Fire Relief at Naharbari on Narendra Modi’s Birthday & SewaSaptah, Swachta Abhiyan, observation of various anniversaries, awareness programmes, etc in various parts of the state.
