Kohima, July 26 (MExN): Nagaland State BJP unit along with the rest of the country observed the 20th Kargil Vijay Diwas at the grave yard of Late Captain Neikezhakuo Kenguruse of Nerhema Village under Kohima District. They paid rich tribute and homage to the brave Naga Soldier who gave away his life in supreme service of the nation, stated a press release from Media Officer to Temjen Imna Along, State President, Nagaland BJP unit.
20 years ago, back in the year 1999 July 26, the Indian armies recaptured all the Indian posts that were occupied by the Pakistani Army with their supreme sacrifice. Since then, July 26 is observed as Vijay Diwas every year to commemorate the supreme sacrifices made by the brave Indian soldiers in the Kargil war. State President Nagaland BJP unit Temjen Imna Along led the homage and offered prayers of solace and peace for the brave soldier. He was accompanied by Ananta Narayan Mishra, friends and colleagues from the State BJP party and Nagaland BJP Kohima District office bearers.
