Asserting that the PIL was filed without any prior knowledge of the BJP Nagaland, state president Temjen Imna Along in a press communiqué has vowed to pursue the matter with the central leadership of the party.
It stated that while the decision of the state government on streamlining the system of issuing of ILP to be made applicable to the entire state including Dimapur has been actively pursued by the PDA partners, the state BJP president said the PIL has come as a surprise to all.
The state BJP therefore said the people should not have any doubt on the sincerity and the will of the party in ensuring that the recommendation of the ILP committee is implemented at the earliest.
