Kohima, March 11 (MExN): The State Cabinet on Friday approved the proposal of Finance Department for revision of pay and pensions of the State government employees corresponding to the 7th Central Pay Commission. The cabinet in its sitting on March 10 here also directed that this revision will take effect from March 1, 2018. A memorandum stated that except for pensions and salaries under the new pension scheme, increased salary on account of the RoP shall be impounded till February 28, 2020 to the GPF account of the employee concerned.
