Kohima, January 24 (DIPR): The State Election Commission in a notification issued that in partial modification of the notification the Government of Nagaland has agreed to depute 35 (thirty-five) Senior Officers of the Government of Nagaland to be deployed as Observers during the ensuing General Election to Municipal and Town Council in the State vide order NO.PAR-4/17/2004 dated Kohima the 20th December, 2016.
The State Election Commission, Nagaland, hereby appoint the following Senior Officers against the respective Municipal Council and Town Council as ‘Election Observer’ in the ensuing Municipal and Town Council Election in Nagaland.
It is further informed that there will be an orientation program for the Observers, including the Reserve Observers on January 24 at 11:00 am in the Conference Hall of the Office of the Commissioner, Nagaland.
