
Dimapur, Jan 4 (MExN): Condolence messages for the bereaved families of the three Naga students who met with tragic deaths in Goa, continues to flow in. Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio expressed shock at the January 1 tragedy and on his and the state government’s behalf conveys heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families and all dear ones of the three students, late Ajungla Longchar, Mojamo Kikon and Vilasietuo.
“The lives of three promising students have been snatched away by this very unfortunate tragedy which is a great loss not only to their families but to all of us” Rio said in a message. He, however, acknowledged that the painful hour can only be left to the Almighty and not question His wisdom. “May God Almighty grant you all His solace, peace and strength from above at this time of bereavement and may their departed souls rest in peace” the Chief Minister prayed. Rio also expressed gratitude to the Governor of Goa SC Jamir and all agencies for extending all necessary assistance in recovering and dispatch of the mortal remains to their respective homes.
Forest Minister Kheto in a separate message expressed deep sorrow and has extended heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families of late Ajungla Longchar, Mojamo Kikon and Vilasietuo.
Also, Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee (NPCC) is pained to hear of the tragic incident “It was most unfortunate for the society to have lost three students who were about to complete their degree course. At this hour of grief and sorrow, the NPCC convey its deepest condolences to the bereaved family members and pray to the Almighty God to give them strength and comfort and the departed souls to rest in peace” a message from NPCC through its Press Secretary Zhenito stated. The NPCC also expresses gratitude to the Goa Governor SC Jamir, for his personal intervention to assist recovery of the three bodies.
