
DIMAPUR, MARCH 18 (MExN): In a move to streamline the mode of appointments to CSS schemes, the Nagaland Government has informed all departments to obtain prior approval of the Personnel & Administrative Reforms (P&AR) department and Finance department before engaging any person under the CSS/flagship schemes in the state. According to a DIPR report, Secretary to the Government of Nagaland, Angau I. Thou in an office memorandum informed that only after obtaining the approval from the government, the respective programme officers should engage any person clearly stating the mode of appointment, ie, whether the engagement are for a fixed tenure or co-terminus with the schemes. Henceforth, the government has directed all the administrative heads, head of departments to adhere to the regulation of employ the word “engage” or “hire” instead of “appointment” while employing any person under the CSS/ flagship schemes.
