Dimapur, April 3 (MExN): The Nagaland Handloom & Handicrafts Development Corporation (NHHDC) Ltd. Dimapur will be organising State Handloom Expo at Urban Haat, Dimapur, from April 28 to May 11 sponsored by the Office of Development Commissioner (Handloom), Ministry of Textiles, Government of India, New Delhi.
Interested co-operative societies, NGOs, Apex Societies, SHGs, etc. may apply to the Project Cell, NHHDC Ltd, Half Nagarjan, Dimapur, along with their respective id cards issued by the Corporation on or before April 23 during office hours, stated a press release issued by Vitsutho Nyuthe, Managing Director, NHHDC Ltd, Dimapur.
“The participants from the same municipality area i.e. Dimapur district shall be restricted to Rs 2000 only as lump sum for the whole period,” he stated.
All stalls shall be provided free of cost. TA/DA and Freight charges will be reimbursed as per the prescribed rates of NHDP guidelines. During the Expo there will be a competition for the best three- stalls in display and sales for which cash prizes shall be awarded, the Managing Director.
