Dimapur, August 3 (MExN): The Nagaland Handloom & Handicrafts Development Corporation (NHHDC) Ltd, Dimapur will be organizing State Handloom Expo at Urban Haat, Dimapur from August 17 to 30. The expo is sponsored by the Office of the Development Commissioner (Handloom), Ministry of Textiles, GoI.
Interested Co-operative Societies, NGOs, apex societies, SHGs, etc. may apply to the Project Cell, NHHDC Ltd, Half Nagarjan, Dimapur, along with their respective id cards issued by the Corporation on or before August 12 during office hours, informed a press release issued by Zakabo V Rotokha, NCS, Managing Director, NHHDC Ltd.
All stalls shall be provided free of cost. TA/DA and Freight charges will be reimbursed as per the prescribed rates of NHDP guidelines. During the Expo there will be a competition for the best three stalls in display and sales for which cash prizes shall be awarded. All participants must be COVID Vaccinated and follow strict SOPs laid down by the Government of Nagaland, it added.
