DIMAPUR, DECEMBER 17 (MExN): The Nagaland State Transport on Wednesday announced that the state helicopter service will remain unavailable for regular scheduled sorties and normal chartered operations on select dates during the Christmas and New Year period.
According to a press release issued by the Office of the General Manager, NST, the suspension will be in effect on December 24 and 25, 2025, and again on December 31, 2025, and January 1, 2026.
However, the service will continue to operate for state emergency duties and emergency medical evacuation sorties during the said period, the release said. The notice was issued for the general information of commuters and the public.
