State level AAA team assesses DBCK
State level AAA team along with the faculty of Don Bosco College Kohima after their assessment visit to the college on January 28.
Kohima, February 1 (MExN): The State level Academic and Administrative Audit (AAA) team visited Don Bosco College Kohima (DBCK) for assessment on January 28.
The AAA team for DBCK deputed by the Directorate of Higher Education, Government of Nagaland comprised of Dr VisakhoniiHibo (Convener). Principal, Japfii Christian College, Kigwema, Kohima, Nagaland, Dr WatijungshiAo, Addl. Director (Retd), Higher Education, Kohima, Medongoi Rhakho, Deputy Director, Higher Education, Kohima. The aim of the event was to prepare the college for the 1st cycle of NAAC assessment.
The event commenced with presentation by Fr Dr P Suresh Innocent Principal, DBCK, where he gave a report on the college profile, academic results of the last four years, fund and infrastructure enhancement undertaken.
Jarani Mao, Coordinator, IQAC deliberated on the NAAC criteria and also on the academic enhancement undertaken by the college. Departmental reports were presented by the heads of all departments.
The team also had interactions with the students, teaching faculty and staff separately. This was followed by physical verification of Accounts & Establishment sections, Exam branch, DBCK Students’ Forum office, classrooms etc.
An exit meeting chaired by the IQAC Coordinator was held with the Principal, IQAC members, HoDs, and staff members where the team members shared key remarks and made suggestions for improvement. The event ended with the report writing by the AAA Team.
