Meeting on State Level Coordination on Mission Antyodaya & Peoples’ Plan Campaign on Gram Panchayat Development Plan held at the Secretariat Conference Hall on September 11.
Kohima, September 12 (MExN): A meeting on State Level Coordination on Mission Antyodaya & Peoples’ Plan Campaign on Gram Panchayat Development Plan was held at the Secretariat Conference Hall on September 11.
The meeting was held under the Chairmanship of Temjen Toy, IAS, Chief Secretary, Nagaland. Toy stressed on the importance and need for convergence to the Line Departments while maintaining that the Line Departments should come forward and work together as one towards a common goal and its success.
Commissioner & Secretary, RD, Neposo Theluo gave an introduction and presentation of the campaign and highlighted the overall progress of Mission Antyodaya survey based on the previous year’s records. He also presented the aims and objectives of the People’s Plan Campaign on GPDP which was followed by the presentation of Convergence Plan under MGNREGA. He also requested the Line Departments to appoint a Nodal Officer from every Line Departments who will be the representative and the in-charge for communication and smooth operation of the campaign.
The house approved the training schedule prepared by the Rural Development and accordingly stated training will begin with the training of the Nodal Officers from the Line Departments scheduled on September 16.
The meeting concluded with a session of discussion and queries from the Departments present on the meeting, stated a press release issued by K Neibou Sekhose, Joint Director & State Nodal for GPDP, Rural Development.
