Kohima, November 11 (MExN): Dr Vikieyie Losou, Principal Director, Health & Family Welfare, Kohima along with Dr Vizolie, Director of Health & Project Director of NHP, Dr Thanghoi, State Program Officer, National Health Mission (NHM) and Er Moanaro, Executive Engineer. Medical Engineering wing and team during the visit to Phek on November 10 inspected the new District Hospital building which is set to be inaugurated very soon.
Along with the hospital, school of nursing, hospital sites, CMO office and others will also be inaugurated.
The state medical officials also conducted a meeting with the Program Officers and staffs during which Dr Tiala Longkumer Medical Superinendent DH Phek briefed the team the district requirements of workforce such as Gynaecologist, Anesthesist and Eye specialist.
Dr Vikieyie PD, Dr Vizolie Director and Dr Thanghoi SPO during their address at the meeting expressed satisfaction over the hospital fraternity for making use of the resources in developing the hospital buliding. They also informed that posting of Gynecologist at DH Phek is in process.
Dr Thanghoi SPO during his briefing requested MS to cross check the report before sending so as to avoid unnecessary errors. He also reminded that district requirements will also be made based on district performance and also spoke on the importance of following hospital protocols.
District Immunization Officer Dr Kolhitso Khalo briefed the state team the status of District MRVC and the constraints & challenges during the campaign. The team assured that the challenges will be discussed with the MD and Program Officers at the State level for making new strategy to boost up the district performance. Earlier the program was chaired by Dr.Wethselo T Mero Senior Paederician DH Phek.
