NEW DELHI, September 30 (MExN): 17 NCC Cadets from the state as part of NCC Directorate North East Region team participated in the All India Thal Sanik Camp Competition which recently culminated at DGNCC Camp, New Delhi.
The cadets included 8 Girl Cadets from 1 Nagaland Girls Bn and 9 Boy Cadets from 24 Nagaland (I) Coy NCC, Kohima. During the ten day long competition the Cadets participated in obstacle competition, map reading, health & hygiene written test, judging distance field signal, tent pitching and firing competition.
The cadets also visited important places in the capital and paid homage to the martyrs at India Gate.
