Kohima, January 12 (DIPR): A coordination meeting in connection with work distribution and ground arrangement etc for the ensuing Republic Day Celebration was held in the DC’s Conference Hall, Kohima on January 12.
The meeting was chaired by Deputy Commissioner Kohima, Rajesh Soudararajan, IAS. The meeting reviewed the minutes of coordination meeting held on December 14, 2016 for the celebration of Republic Day 2017 and confirmed the participation of various departments, 9th Assam Rifles and NGOs/Civil Societies for visitation of Institutions on the occasion.
The DC also requested the department concerned to keep in mind and suggest something new on the exhibition stalls and other things, which can be of current things showcasing variety of new things to the people in the next Independence Day and Republic Day celebrations. He also urged all the participating departments and NGOs/Civil Societies to extend their best services for the success of the celebration.
Mkg DPDB discusses R-Day assignments
Mokokchung, January 12 (DIPR): Mokokchung District Planning & Development Board Meeting for the month of January 2017 was held on January 12 in the ADC (Planning) conference hall. The first DPDB meeting for the year 2017 was presided over by Deputy Commissioner & Vice Chairman of the DPDB, Sushil Kumar Patel. He extended New Year greetings to all the members.
The meeting chalked out detailed programme for the Independence Day celebration. The Vice Chairman also distributed works for the successful celebration of the Day to various departments. The meeting also decided that Agri & Allied departments will organize exhibition where interested SHGs, NGOs will be invited.
Chief Medical Officer Mokokchung, Dr Akaba informed the members that the first phase of Intensive Pulse Polio immunization in Mokokchung district will commence from 29th January 2017 and sought cooperation from all the members. H said detail programme will be announced later.
