DIMAPUR, SEPTEMBER 26 (MExN): The Nagaland State Taxes Department on Friday said it has developed an application software for registration and payment of profession tax to facilitate ease of doing business in the state.
The department said the software for registration will be rolled out from October 1, 2025, and will be made available on its website www.nagalandtax-nic.in for access by all concerned.
“All persons liable for registration and payment of profession tax are directed to get themselves registered or enrolled, as the case may be,” Commissioner of State Taxes Abhinav Shivam said in a notification.
It said the step-by-step process flow for registration and enrollment, classes of persons, the applicable rate of profession tax, and the helpdesk will be made available on the website for guidance. For queries, taxpayers may call 7005080401 or visit the nearest State Taxes office, it added.
