
Kohima, September 1 (DIPR): On the directive of the chief minister of Nagaland, a high-level official delegation comprising of the chief secretary, the ACS & Development Commissioner and the ACS & Finance Commissioner will be off to Delhi September 2 in regard to implementation of ROP for state government employees. The delegation will have discussions with the Planning Commission, 13th Finance Commission and the Finance Ministry to explore means to meet requirements of the ROP as recommended by the 6th Pay Commission. That way, an early scale release to Nagaland government employees would be enabled. The state government has already constituted ‘Fitment Committee’ to work out the pay scales and other allowances of the state employees in line with the 6th Central Pay Commission’s recommendations.
