State witnessing peaceful situation due to people’s determination: Pusa

Kohima, April 9 (MExN): Senior Congress MLA, K V Pusa today urged Naga people to inculcate societal obedience to usher in a harmonious society. Addressing the gathering of Rachu Union (Viswema), Kohima, today, at Naga Heritage Village Kisama, former president of Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee Pusa urged people of Rachuma and Nagas to continue to work for peaceful and harmonious Naga society, which is the yearning of all sections of Naga people.
He observed that despite turbulent and unstable situation prevailing in many places in the world, Nagaland has been witnessing relatively peaceful situation due to the determination of the people to live in peace and unity. “All should partake in peace activities and in search of permanent peace and unity in our society” the congress leader insisted.
Pusa, also strongly advocated for peace and unity in Naga society and urged people to contribute their efforts for peace and unity. “The voice of Naga people is for peace and unity” he added and urged all sections of Naga society to follow the rest of communities in seeking peace.  The congress lawmakers also appealed for good neighbourhood in the spirit of ‘forget and forgive’ and love each other to build a tranquility society which would usher in all round development and progress. He was particularly happy with the people of Rachu, for their cordial and harmonious living among themselves, and urged the rest of Naga society to emulate their example.
On the occasion, new members were also nominated to the office bearers. Special songs were presented by Kezhosato Kin and Kemesanu Sothu and Keneikrul Noswe and Dzuvihol Kweho. Earlier Vimezhol Theyo, Pastor Police Baptist Church Phesama invoked the Almighty’s blessings. Hundreds of people attended today’s special programme which was followed by community feast.
