Dimapur, November 30 (MExN): In pursuance of the Nagaland Retirement Public Employment Ordinance 2007, the Governor of Nagaland has assented to enhancement of the retirement age of all state government employees. The increase is from the existing 57 years to 60 years. All persons under employment shall retire on the afternoon of the last day of the month in which he/she attains the age of 60 years, stated an official notice from the Chief Secretary Lalhuma. The effective date for implementation of this office memorandum will be November 15, 2007.
