Special Task Force carrying out field inspection at a shop in Kohima to enforce the ongoing Single-Use Plastic ban.
Kohima, November 8 (MExN): The Special Task Force (STF), comprising members from the district administration, DPRO’s office, Kohima Municipal Council (KMC), Police, and Dobashis, conducted a field inspection in Kohima today to enforce the ban on single-use plastics (SUP).
The inspection revealed that several shops were violating the ban by stocking and distributing single-use plastic items.
In response, the STF confiscated a substantial quantity of SUP products and imposed fines on the offending establishments.
