Mokokchung, January 10 (MExN): The Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Mokokchung, Thsuvisie Phoji, has announced that permission has been granted to JKM Infra Works, Guwahati, Assam, to conduct stone blasting on National Highway (NH)-61 stretches between DEF Church and Yisemyong on January 11.
The blasting operation will take place at the construction site of the two-lane road between DEF Church and Yisemyong on NH-61 in the Angetyongpang Tzu River area on January 11, from 3:00 pm to 8:00 om.
According to the State DIPR, the DC Mokokchung has granted permission with the condition that the contractor ensures the safety and security of the lives and property of the public using the road.
The company has been instructed to adhere to the relevant Act/Rule from 2008, and informed that it would be held responsible for any damages to life and property, it added.
