Dimapur, February 19 (MExN): The Chang Students’ Union Tuensang Town (CSUTT) has strongly refuted the recent press release issued by KYO president, Khrulhoulie Khezhie, against the stand of the ENSF on the NH-155 issue. CSUTT president K James has in a press release stated that ENSF is the apex student organisation of Eastern Nagaland which was formed with the sole consent and mandate of the six tribes of the four districts of Eastern Nagaland to protect the interest of the Eastern people and was “not a clan organisation like KYO.”
The CSUTT alleged that the “KYO president and secretary has not visited the spot and passing judgement sitting in Kohima defending their ‘God Father’ without knowing the ground reality, which clearly signifies that they are the puppets of Pele Khezhie.” Adding that the “KYO should have noted that ENSF had blacklisted all defaulting contractors on NH-155 and not only their ‘God Father’,” the release from the CSUTT stated that “KYO should stop breeding ‘ism’ and stop practicing sycophancy as the whole Naga society has been known for fair and wise judgement since time immemorial.”
“As far as the president and the secretary of ENSF residing in Kohima is concern, there are five more officials of ENSF besides thousands of Eastern Naga people residing in Kohima, since Kohima being the capital of Nagaland,” the CSUTT stated while adding that “as per their press release they are targeting our people and if anything happens to any officials of ENSF or any bonafide members of Eastern Naga, then the KYO will be held solely responsible.”
The Union further questioned the credibility of the NCSU vice president, Tseibou Khusoh, and secretary Imsunok Jamir in rendering selfless support to an individual, whereas ENSF had blacklisted other defaulting Contractors of NH-155 too. “The ENSF has not taken into consideration that Pele Kezhei, being the president of NCSU but as a defaulting contractor,” the Union added.
“The Union concluded that the continuous deplorable developmental activities carrying out by the NCSU members in the part of Eastern Nagaland are masterminded under the aegis of the present office bearers of NCSU,” the CSUTT stated. The Union further urged the ENSF to sternly take appropriate action against the erring contractors and NCSU officials while assuring fullest cooperation to the Federation in its move for better development of the region.
