The National Cadet Corps of St Joseph’s College, Jakhama display placards on the theme, ‘Stop Child Labour’ outside a market in Kohima on May 26. As part of their social responsibility towards creating awareness on various issues,they visited different market in Kohima. The Nagaland Girls’ Battalion NCC-Kohima has directed NCC cadets of schools/colleges to move through market areas with theme based placards within the jurisdiction of their municipality on the last Saturday of every month. The themes can be on any social issues like anti drug, AIDS, saving environment, save water, female foeticide etc.
