Wokha, May 26 (MExN): Street play on Non Communicable Diseases was organized by IEC Bureau, Wokha on May 25. The play was performed by IEC personnel and adolescent club members in three places including SM Baptist English School, NST station and DC Office Junction, Wokha.
Street play was organised with an aim to create awareness on risk factors of Non Communicable Diseases, healthy lifestyle and benefits of screening. The play educated the public on symptoms and preventions of hypertension, complications and risk factors on diabetes, proper treatments, and cancer and cardio vascular disease.
The play was performed successfully due to the co-ordination of the IEC personnel and monitoring team from Directorate of Health and Family Welfare Kohima.
