Mokokchung, April 17 (MExN): The Advisor for Law & Justice, Land Revenue TN Mannen IAS (Retd) culminated his campaign tour for PDA consensus candidate Dr Chumben Murry at 23 Impur Constituency on April 17.

A press release received here stated that speaking at Mopungchuket village, the Advisor asked the gathering to desist from delving into past misunderstanding amongst the constituency people due to political differences but strive to move forward in unity for the overall progress of Impur constituency.

Stating that ‘the PDA consensus candidate Dr Chumben Murry is from NDPP which is not against any religion or any particular section of the people,’ he reminded that BJP in the state is part of the ruling PDA government, which also happens to be ruling in the National central government.

He reiterated that “Dr Chumben Murry will be the most capable candidate to represent the Nagas and who can also safeguard and defend the rights of our people in the lower house.”

Sharing his optimism for BJP led alliance to come to power in the centre for the third time, the Advisor reminded that it will be advantageous for a resource-poor state like Nagaland to have a good working alliance with the central government.

Mayangnungba, President NDPP, Mokokchung region and a host of NDPP Mokokchung region officials also spoke at the gathering at Mopungchuket village. Later, the Advisor visited his native village Longjang village for a public meeting.
