Student Teachers at MITE undertake outreach activity

Kohima, February 25 (MExN): The Modern Institute of Teacher Education (MITE), Kohima organised an Extension cum Outreach Activity to Rüsoma village on February 24 under the theme of “Viksit Bharat 2047: Voice of Youth Campaign.”

During the event, Semester-II Student Teachers were divided into 24 groups consisting of 4 members and each member was assigned to a household and complete survey questionnaire on education and awareness of any schemes provided by the government.

The students also suggested the villagers with necessary schemes that will be helpful to them and their families, inofmred an MITE release. 

The outreach conducted was ‘very successful’ and the survey result showed that the villagers were well aware of the various schemes provided by the government, it said.

he Students’ Union of Rusoma village, Village Council, and elders actively cooperated during the outreach programme, it added.

The Programme coordinator Dr R Udhaya Mohan Babu, Dr Rajesh Babu, and MITE Principal Dr Kate Dandes Kumaral also participated actively.
