Jakhama, May 28 (MExN): The Loyola Higher Secondary School Jakhama conducted debate competition on the topic "Should mobile be allowed in the School?" organised by Elocution Club in the School auditorium on May 27.
The participants of against team were adjudged first, second and third position respectively. The Principal of the School, Reverend Father Victor D'Mello SJ expressed sincere gratitude for the organiser and all the participants for well presentation in the debate. Father D'Mello also informed like debate is one of the curriculum activity of the school calendar. Confidence building and personality development is the core of education apart from formal course, he added. “Imparting current social life system with values is the prime objective to equip in the competitive world,” said the Reverend.
The penal were from different Nagaland government department officials including Research Associate from Nagaland University. The moderator was the Principal of the school. The judges were also gave a critic of the debate like to use a parliamentarian language, polite, facts, correct data and information with dynamic and magnetic words, and conference with articulation. The penal also gave a compliment to all the participants. Felicitation and awarding to the winners followed by supplication to Almighty God and sang school anthem were the highlights of the programme.
