Dimapur, August 18 (MExN): The Chandrayaan-2 mission which has been successfully launched by ISRO on July 22 is expected to land on the moon on September 7. In this regard, to increase awareness about the space programme, an online quiz competition is being conducted by ISRO in coordination with ‘MyGov.in’ from August 10 - 20.
Two top scoring students (from Class 8-10 only) from each state and Union Territory will be invited to ISRO, Bengaluru centre to watch the landing of Chandrayaan-2 on the Moon live along with the Prime Minister. Principal Director of School Education, Shanavas C, IAS in a press release has therefore, requested head of institutions of all schools in Nagaland to ensure maximum participation of students in this online quiz. They will need to visit the website https://quiz.mygov.in for participating in the programme. Each participant will receive a certificate of participation.
