
Kohima, July 16 (MExN): Chairman, NBSE, Asano Sekhose has notified for information of all heads of institutions, that the Petroleum Conservative Research Association (PCRA) is organising ‘Saksham’ National competition-2019: painting, essay writing and quiz competition for school children from July 1 to September 30.
The PCRA under the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas, Government of India, conducts this competition every year, to raise awareness among the youth on conservation of Petroleum Products and how to practice such conservation in our daily lives. More than 32 lakh students participated in the competition in 2018, and this year it is targeted to reach more than1 crore students. The students are awarded with attractive prizes including trip to Japan, laptops and cash prizes.
A web portal and a mobile app have been developed for schools to participate in the competition and detailed instructions for conducting the competitions and are available on this portal www.pcracometition.org.
