Students from Seoul in Dimapur for food & cultural exchange prog

Dimapur, January 15 (MExN): The Korean Culinary Arts & Science High School, Seoul, South Korea led by Dr. Lee, Senior Lecturer and Jhang, ethnic Korean cuisine chef along with 10 students had a food and cultural exchange programme with the students and faculty of Mount Mary Higher Secondary School & College, Chumukedima on January 13.  

Rev. C.S. Moon, founder Director of CONA (Corea Naga Mission) facilitated as a liaison person, informed a press release.  

The visit, according to the release, was to establish further bonding between the two entities and also adhere to the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed between the Korean Culinary Arts & Science High School and Mount Mary Higher Secondary School & College, Chumukedima, Nagaland earlier in the year 2016.  

The resident students represented the 16 tribes of Nagaland by displaying full traditional attire to the awe of the Korean delegation, the press release said. Meanwhile, students of Korean Culinary Arts and Science High School prepared traditional Korean dishes such as Bulgogi, Japchae, Ramen, Bibimbap, Kimchi and an array of other cuisines, which were tasted and loved by the students, faculty members and special invitees, it added.
