Tobu, January 2 (MExN): The Tobu Town Students' Union (TTSU) has expressed disappointment to the contractor responsible for the construction of youth hall in Tobu Town under Mon district for delay in the construction of the hall. The construction had started in the year 2011.
The TTSU in its 31st general session held on December 28, which was attended by Konyak Union (Branch Tobu), KNSK Tobu Town, TTCSA, other NGOs and student community, decided to give 30 days to the contractor for restarting the constructing from the date of publishing this press release, according to a press release from H. Khamba, President, and L. Pangting, Press and Information Secretary of TTSU. Failing to do so, the union will take it own course of action, it cautioned.
“With no union office and no council hall in Tobu Town, such youth building would have served a lot of purpose for the entire community but surprisingly the contractor has disappeared without any reason soon after the construction started,” the union lamented.
The TTSU also called upon all the contractors doing construction under Tobu Town to immediately finish the pending projects without much delay, “failing (which) the union will be compelled to question them in the office without serving further notice.”
