MLA & Advisor, Power, H Tovihoto Ayemi urged upon the students to be consistent in their hardwork and to be determined in achieving their goal.
He was speaking as special guest at the Annual Nagaland Muslim Students’ Felicitation Programme organized by Muslim Council Dimapur at Christian Higher Secondary School, Dimapur on June 23.
He congratulated the successful students and encouraged them to keep up with their success adding, “Success is not a destination but a journey” which they must continue to walk. Tovihoto also urged the parents to continue motivating and inspiring the students who need it at every step of their studies.
He lauded the MCD for organizing such annual programme stating that acknowledging the students for their success would further encourage them to scale greater heights.
Special invitee, HK Khulu, IAS (retd) encouraged the students to be focused on positive sides and not to be swayed by negative aspects. He also advised students to stay connected with their friends and family even as they remain focused on achieving academic goals. “It is not only about academic excellence but you must also grow holistically,” he added.
Tovihoto and Khulu along with other invitees gave away awards and presentations to the achievers.
MCD organized the programme for students who have scored 70% marks and above. More than 80 students were felicitated during the programme attended by a host of leaders and representatives from various organizations and communities.
